Advertised on behalf of a family: We are seeking a kind, patient and reliable Personal Assistant to support a 12-year-old boy in Aspatria who has a severe learning disability and Jacob Syndrome. The role involves encouraging and prompting the child during mealtimes, providing emotional and behavioural support, and engaging them in activities they enjoy such as trampolining, football, spending time outdoors and visiting the park. This position is for 6 hours per week during school holidays. A DBS check will be required (funded by the employer), and previous experience is essential. A driving licence is preferred. The hourly rate for this role is £12.21.
