Description
Supabase is a Postgres development platform providing a complete backend solution including Database, Auth, Storage, Edge Functions, Realtime, and Vector Search. This role is a Support Engineer responsible for providing world-class developer support to customers experiencing issues or seeking guidance with Supabase services. You will handle support cases across multiple channels, triage issues, and work closely with product engineering and growth teams.
What You'll Do
• Provide initial and timely responses to support cases covering topics from billing and pre-sales requests to optimization and implementation questions
• Triage support cases by directing users to documentation, code examples, previous answers, or escalating to appropriate technical or business teams
• Monitor multiple feedback channels including GitHub Issues and Discussions
• Identify opportunities to develop internal tooling or solutions to improve support efficiency
• Reproduce issues, create test cases, and improve test coverage where applicable
What You Need
• 3+ years of experience providing developer support to technical customers
• Proficiency in SQL, ideally PostgreSQL, with comfort working with complex queries
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
• Skilled use of Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line interfaces
• Experience working with GitHub Issues and Discussions
Nice to Have
• Database administration experience
• Familiarity with popular JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue, and Svelte
• Experience with Node.js
• Computer Science degree
