We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain Planner to join our team in Visp. In this role, you will be the crucial link that ensures our manufacturing and daily operations run seamlessly. You will coordinate materials, optimize production schedules, and help build a resilient supply chain that supports our mission of delivering critical medicines to patients. Your responsibilities will include, Plan, schedule, and coordinate the flow of materials and components required to support manufacturing operations at the Visp site. Monitor and optimize inventory stock keeping to ensure material availability while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence. Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), Procurement, and Logistics to ensure uninterrupted operations. Manage supplier delivery schedules, proactively identifying and mitigating supply risks. Contribute to the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process by providing supply planning insights, inventory analyses, and capacity assessments to support business decision-making. Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term supply plans that align customer demand with production capabilities and inventory targets. Monitor key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs) and drive actions to improve service, reliability, and operational efficiency. Support supply chain resilience through effective risk management, business continuity planning, and cross-functional problem-solving. Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives that enhance planning processes, data visibility, and overall supply chain performance. Promote best practices in supply planning and inventory management, supporting the development of a state-of-the-art Supply Chain Management organization. We are looking for someone with: Up to 5 years of professional experience in supply chain planning, logistics, or production scheduling. Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or a highly regulated industry is highly advantageous but not strictly required. Familiarity with ERP systems and standard supply chain management tools. A collaborative and self-driven mindset that thrives in a holacratic, decentralized environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach. Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a strong asset for our Visp location.
