About the job: As a Supply Chain Lead, External Manufacturing API, you'll lead a team at the heart of Opella's global API network, managing the supply of critical pharmaceutical ingredients across a diverse international manufacturing ecosystem and contributing to strategic projects that shape the future of our brands. · Lead initiatives that strengthen supply reliability and customer service performance. · Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain operations. · Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation and effective use of systems and data. · Champion collaboration, agility, and resilience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. · Develop a high-performing team focused on delivering sustainable business results. Main responsibilities: · Lead end-to-end supply chain operations for externally manufactured APIs, ensuring reliable supply to manufacturing sites and contact manufacturing organizations (CMOs). · Manage supplier performance through KPIs, governance reviews, and strategic partnerships to drive service excellence. · Anticipate and mitigate supply risks, managing allocations, inventory constraints, and business continuity challenges. · Support product launches, transfers, and transformation initiatives while ensuring uninterrupted market supply. · Drive continuous improvement through process optimisation, system enhancements, and operational excellence programs. · Partner with internal stakeholders across Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Quality, and Manufacturing to deliver business objectives. · Lead, develop, and coach the supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. About you: · Experience leading supply chain operations within a pharmaceutical, healthcare, manufacturing, or similarly regulated environment. · Strong expertise in supply planning, supplier management, logistics, and customer service processes. · Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder networks and external supplier relationships in an international environment. · Strong leadership and people development skills, with experience building high-performing teams. · Experience working with ERP and planning systems, including SAP and advanced supply chain tools. · Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to perform effectively in dynamic environments. · Fluent in English · A degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience Opella values diversity in all its forms and is committed to fostering a workplace where everyone can belong and excel.
