Takes ownership of the transportation needs of resources and equipment that are used in the implementation of ministry events including the Weekend to Remember getaways, Love Like You Mean It cruise, Blended events and more. Working with other departments, this person provides key support to the successful execution of high impact ministry outreaches. Job Duties: • Provides a timely organization of the event shipping schedule to internal customers and warehouse partners. • Works with our transportation partner (carrier) to successfully implement the shipping plan. • Uses Salesforce and WooCommerce tools to accurately order resources for events, communicate those orders to our warehouse partner, and reconcile inventory following the conclusion of events. • Utilizes the scheduling of deliveries to prevent excess stock or backorders. • Seeks ways to continuously improve processes and services. • Works well with spreadsheet and database interfaces and can communicate with their “customers” both internal and external to FamilyLife. • Participates in supplier and vendor negotiations.
