Job Title:   Cut Up Rehang   Production Supervisor Department:   Production / Operations Reports To:     Production Superintendent FLSA Status:   Exempt Location:   Liberty   Plant Work Arrangement:   On-Site Shift / Schedule:   1 st   Shift Travel Requirements:   None Employment Type:   Full-time Role Overview / Purpose and Scope The Production Supervisor   is responsible for   leading production line operations and ensuring a safe, organized, efficient, and quality-focused work environment. This role oversees daily production activities, supports line performance, minimizes downtime, ensures compliance with company standards and customer specifications, and helps   maintain   strong food safety, quality, and operational results. The Production Supervisor   is responsible for   coordinating line work to meet production orders,   maintaining   department performance standards, supporting HACCP recordkeeping, and assigning, training, coaching, and monitoring team members   in accordance with   company policies and applicable government regulations. This position plays   an important role   in supporting production efficiency, team member development, safety, quality, GMP compliance, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities • Oversee daily production line operations to support safe, efficient, and well-organized production. • Coordinate   linework   to meet production orders in collaboration with team members, leads, and other departments. • Maintain quality standards for products and ensure customer specifications are met. • Maintain department performance within established standards for efficient use of human resources, equipment, and materials. • Maintain and report production-related information   regarding   yields, efficiencies, labor   utilization , and other key performance measures to the Superintendent. • Seek new opportunities for continuous improvement in materials, processes, lean manufacturing, and total quality management. • Ensure production processes and products adhere to GMP standards, customer specifications, and the company’s HACCP Plan. • Ensure HACCP recordkeeping and related documentation are completed and   maintained   accurately. • Ensure equipment and work areas are appropriately   maintained   and operating continuously and efficiently by working with maintenance staff, outside vendors, the Maintenance Manager, and the Plant Manager as needed. • Establish and   maintain   appropriate working   relationships with other management personnel and USDA representatives. • Establish norms and standards for department performance. • Stay current with developments in management practices, process optimization, and operational improvement. • Mentor and motivate approximately 40 team members by providing training and development to support performance and personal growth. • Communicate performance standards to team members. • Recognize and reward individual and team accomplishments. • Counsel and address performance concerns appropriately and   in a timely manner . • Communicate standards and ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, GMPs, and HACCP procedures. • Train team members on safety regulations and practices and enforce safety expectations. • Manage staffing, line coverage, and attendance. • Facilitate team meetings, including team member training. • Ensure   appropriate documentation   is completed,   maintained , and filed as   required . • Promote a positive work environment that supports safety, quality, productivity, accountability, and team engagement. • Perform other duties as assigned. Compensation:   $65,000 - $80,000 Additional Compensation:   KPI-based incentive program. Qualifications • Two years of proven supervisory experience in process optimization, operations, business management, production, or   a related   environment. • Ability to recognize and respond to changes appropriately. • Demonstrated positive attitude and uncompromising regard for quality. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of team members. • Demonstrated ability to work well with and guide others effectively. • Ability to positively influence the attitude and performance of others. • Ability to lead, train, coach, motivate, and monitor team members in a production environment. • Ability to manage staffing, line coverage, attendance, documentation, and daily production needs. • Ability to support food safety, quality, safety, GMP, and HACCP requirements. • Ability to   maintain   production standards related to yields,   efficiencies , labor   utilization , and customer specifications. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities and production needs may change quickly. • Ability to perform the essential functions of the role with or without reasonable accommodation Preferred Qualifications • Experience   in food manufacturing. • Experience in poultry processing, food processing, manufacturing, production, or operations. • Bilingual ability in English and Spanish. • Experience supervising approximately 40 or more team members. • Experience working with USDA representatives or supporting regulatory expectations in a production environment. • Experience with lean manufacturing, total quality management, process optimization, or continuous improvement. • Experience with HACCP, GMPs, quality standards, customer specifications, and production documentation. • Commitment to being a champion for safety, quality, and GMP standards. New team members must be able to pass a drug,   alcohol   and background screening post-offer and prior to the start of their employment. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel Work is conducted primarily in a manufacturing and poultry production environment. This role requires access to production areas, production lines, team member work areas, and other operational spaces throughout the plant. The team member must be able to tolerate varying heat, wet, and chill conditions within the plant. Hearing and eye protective equipment are   required   in the production area. Hair and beard nets are   required   in the production area.   Additional   personal protective equipment may be   required   based on task, location, and safety requirements. This position may require standing for   long periods , walking, bending, reaching, working near production equipment, accessing production lines, and supporting team members throughout the department.   The role may also require working in a fast-paced environment where production needs, staffing needs, and operational priorities can change quickly.
