The summer intern will work closely with various departments within Meharry Medical College to gain hands-on experience and contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives. This internship offers an opportunity to develop professional skills, expand knowledge in specific areas of interest, and gain practical experience in a higher education setting. Daily Operations • Assist with administrative tasks as assigned – data entry, filing, and organizing documents • Provide support for events, workshops, and seminars hosted by the college • Assist with social media management, including content creation and scheduling posts • Collaborate with team members on special projects and assignments • Provide support to faculty members in preparing course materials and presentations • Attend meetings and training sessions to gain exposure to various aspects of college operations Required Skills • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Prior experience in a related field is a plus but not required Required Education and Experience • Varies based upon applicant age. • Internship length may vary.
