Position Details: You will prepare crossing zones and assist children in safely crossing streets. The school locations will vary as a substitute. Times: • Morning: 7:25 AM - 8:10 AM • Afternoon: 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Responsible for the use of discretion and independent judgment in the safe crossing of children. • Ability to work in outside conditions. • Able to lift up to 25 pounds. • Ability to use accurate judgment of traffic flow, speed and direction of travel. • Able to use hand-held stop sign, reflector vest, cones, and 20 MPH flashing lights. • Ability to work well with other people specifically children, parents and school officials. • Reliable and good attendance.
