Your Opportunity
As a Student Recruitment Officer, you will play a key role in inspiring and supporting prospective students throughout their admissions journey. From responding to initial enquiries to guiding applicants through to enrolment, you will help future students take the next step towards a career in forensic sciences, criminology, and cybersecurity.
Working as part of an international team, you will contribute to the growth of the European Forensic Institute while building meaningful relationships with students from around the world.
Key Responsibilities
• Engage with prospective students from enquiry through to enrolment.
• Provide clear information about programmes, entry requirements, fees and next steps.
• Follow up with applicants regularly to support application completion and enrolment.
• Build positive relationships with prospective students and, where appropriate, sponsors.
• Guide applicants through the Student Agreement and registration fee payment process.
• Participate in student recruitment fairs across Europe and represent the institution professionally.
• Support and participate in online open days, webinars and student information sessions.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application progress.
• Work closely with Admissions, Finance and Academic teams to support a smooth enrolment process.
• Provide feedback on applicant questions, concerns and barriers to enrolment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Sales and negotiation skills with a consultative approach.
• Ability to build rapport with diverse prospective students.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple applicants simultaneously.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Languages: English (Native) and Italian (Business Professional)
Desired Experience
• Experience in student recruitment, admissions, education consultancy or consultative sales.
• Experience working within higher education, vocational education or training organisations is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to meet recruitment or sales targets.
• Experience working with international students is advantageous, where applicable.
• Additional languages to English and Italian
