About the Position As a Dental Hygienist, you will play an important role in providing preventive and periodontal care while helping patients understand the importance of maintaining their oral health. You will work closely with doctors and the clinical team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while contributing to a positive and professional office environment. Key Responsibilities • Provide exceptional preventive and periodontal care to patients. • Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment recommendations. • Build strong, trusting relationships with patients and team members. • Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. • Collaborate with doctors and clinical team members to provide an exceptional patient experience. • Provide patient-centered care in a professional and respectful manner. • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and team-focused office culture. • Follow all applicable clinical, safety, and compliance standards. Qualifications • Active Dental Hygienist license in Connecticut . • Associate's degree from an accredited dental hygiene program. • Current CPR certification required. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Professional and positive attitude. • Passion for patient care and oral health education. • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment. • Experience with preventive care and periodontal therapy preferred. • Dental office experience preferred. • Dentrix Ascend experience is a plus.
