The Role Sitting within Strategy & Platforms and reporting to the GM-Strategy & Platforms, this is a high-impact, generalist strategy role combining business intelligence with structured strategic thinking to inform Group-wide decision-making. You'll generate deep, actionable insights across the competitive landscape, ticketing operations, live entertainment venues and broader market trends – feeding directly into Group Strategy, the strategies of Ticketek's Ticketing and Live entertainment business units, and key partnerships. We're seeking someone with a strong consulting toolkit: structured problem-solving, rigorous analysis delivered at pace, and the ability to build clear, compelling, executive-ready presentations for the CEO, Senior Leadership Team and Board. Requirements Outcomes to Deliver In this role, success looks like: Strategy development & business planning: Partner with the GM – Strategy & Platforms and Senior Leadership Team to develop and refine TEG's Group strategy and business unit strategies, translating priorities into frameworks, business cases and implementation roadmaps. Competitive & market intelligence: Build deep understanding of key competitors, analyse competitor ticketing platforms, and monitor trends in the live music venue sector to inform partnership and investment decisions. Executive communication & storytelling: Design and build clear, compelling, board-ready presentations and papers that translate complex analysis into a sharp, structured narrative for the CEO, Senior Leadership Team and Board. Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with Ticketing, TEG Live, Sport, Commercial Partnerships, Customer & Data Solutions and other areas to ensure strategic recommendations are grounded in operational reality and can be practically implemented. Data-driven culture: Synthesise data from streaming platforms, social media and internal sales data to identify emerging artist and genre trends, sharing insights through regular newsletters and briefings. Special projects: Lead or support ad hoc strategic projects and initiatives as directed by the GM – Strategy & Platforms and CEO, which may include travel as required. Capabilities to Bring You’ll thrive in this role if you bring: Strategy pedigree: 5+ years' experience in management consulting, corporate strategy or business intelligence – time in a top-tier or boutique consulting firm strongly preferred. Slide mastery: Outstanding, non-negotiable ability to build polished, executive-ready Google Slides presentations that land well the first time. Structured problem-solving: Strong analytical capability, translating data and research into clear strategic implications at pace. Storytelling instinct: Excellent storytelling skills, bringing stakeholders on the journey and landing insights confidently with senior leaders. Executive presence: Strong stakeholder management experience, including exposure to C-suite and/or Board-level engagement, with the rigour and judgement to support confident decision-making
