Description
Hultafors Group is looking to extend its Strategy & M&A Team to play an important role in driving strategic initiatives and M&A across the Group. This is a high-impact position with close collaboration to senior leadership (executive team), offering broad responsibility across the transaction lifecycle within a global industrial group and benefitting from the Latour investment network.
Location: Gothenburg
The position
You will work across the full M&A process—from market screening and target evaluation to execution and post-acquisition follow-up. Alongside this, you will contribute to shaping the Group’s strategic direction and growth priorities.
Working closely with the CEO, CFO, and Executive Team, you will combine analytical depth with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to support informed decision-making and long-term value creation.
Reporting to: CFO
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain the M&A pipeline through market analysis and stakeholder engagement
• Perform financial analysis and valuation, and prepare business cases
• Support and coordinate transaction processes, including due diligence and negotiations
• Prepare clear and well-structured materials for Executive Team and Board discussions
• Contribute to post-acquisition follow-up and value creation
• Support broader Group strategy and portfolio development
Your profile
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience from M&A, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development
• Strong analytical and financial skills, including valuation
• Experience working in project-based environments with multiple stakeholders
• Clear and professional communication skills in Swedish and English
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Relevant academic degree (Degree in Finance, Business Economics, Industrial Engineering or similar related field)
You are analytical, structured, and commercially minded, with a collaborative approach and strong sense of ownership. You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment and managing multiple priorities, while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
