Stores Person Location: Stroud Hours: Monday to Friday – Double Days Shift Rotation Salary: Negotiable DOE Type: Permanent Key Responsibilities of a Saw & Raw Materials Stores Person: • Receive, allocate and prepare raw materials for manufacturing • Operate band saws to cut material bars into billets • Safely operate forklift trucks and pedestrian trucks • Maintain material identification and traceability • Calculate material requirements using metric and imperial measurements • Store materials safely and accurately within the warehouse • Assist with stock takes and inventory control activities • Support goods receiving and stores operations as required • Assist with metal waste segregation and disposal • Maintain excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards Key Skills of a Saw & Raw Materials Stores Person: • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills • Good numeracy skills with confidence using metric and imperial measurements • Experience using stock control or allocation systems • Ability to use measuring equipment such as tape measures and rules • Good communication skills • Previous stores or manufacturing experience desirable • Forklift licence advantageous • Experience operating band saws desirable How to Apply: To be considered for this role, please email your CV to [email protected] or call Andrew Penrith on 01453 755330.
