Storeperson Pay: £28k - £30k DOE Hours: 8:00 - 16:30 Monday - Thursday | 8:00 - 13:00 Friday Are you an organised and detail-focused Storeperson with experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing company in Witney for a reliable individual to join their busy stores team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing business where you'll play a key role in ensuring materials and components are received, stored and supplied efficiently to support production. Duties include: . Receive goods into the business and accurately book stock into Sage 200. . Prepare production kits and distribute materials and engineering spares to the shop floor or build teams. . Pack spare parts orders ready for dispatch. . Load and unload deliveries using a forklift truck. . Inspect incoming goods for quality, accuracy and conformity. . Report any discrepancies, damage or non-conforming items to the Materials Team Leader. . Allocate and issue stock using the company's inventory management system. . Occasionally drive the company van to deliver goods to local suppliers. What we're looking for: . Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, warehouse or production environment. . Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. . Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. . The ability to carry out manual handling duties and work in a physically active role. . Previous stores or stock control experience (desirable). . A valid forklift licence or forklift experience (desirable). . A full UK driving licence (desirable due to occasional van deliveries).
