JOB STATUS: Part-Time (16 hours per week; Fridays and two (2) Saturdays per month required) LOCATION: Redwood Falls, MN LOVE THRIFTING, HELPING PEOPLE, AND STAYING ACTIVE IN YOUR COMMUNITY? As a Store Associate , you’ll play a key role in keeping the thrift store running smoothly, creating a welcoming shopping experience, and connecting community members with valuable resources and support. WHAT YOU'LL DO: • Keep the Store Running Smoothly: Process sales, handle payments, follow procedures, and support donation intake by sorting, pricing, and preparing items. • Create an Inviting Shopping Experience: Maintain a clean, organized store and assist with displays. • Engage Customers & Community: Provide friendly service, assist with purchases and donations, and share resource information. • Support Volunteers & Teamwork: Work with volunteers by guiding tasks and assisting with onboarding and training. • Handle Donations & Store Operations: Receive donations, provide receipts, and ensure items are sorted and displayed properly. • Maintain Records & Financial Accuracy: Track sales, complete deposits, and keep records accurate and up to date. SKILLS TO WOW US: • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills • Solid math skills and comfort handling transactions • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills • Positive attitude with flexibility in a fast-paced environment • Passion for community service and making a difference EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Minimum: High school diploma or GED • Preferred: Experience in a retail or thrift store environment, including knowledge of store operations and customer service.
