40 hours Will you join our (assembly) team? We are looking for outside steel construction mechanic(s) and/or apprentice(s) for projects abroad! About us Thinking Steel wordt gevormd door Willemse Staalconstructies, Willemse Compleetbouw en Thinking Steel International. Samen al jaren een begrip in de staalwereld. Gilze is onze thuisbasis. Alle constructies worden hier in de fabriek ontworpen en geproduceerd. Onze projecten variëren van staalconstructies, dak- en geveltechniek tot turnkey bouwprojecten in de utiliteitsbouw. Deze lopen uiteen van kleinschalig tot complex en geavanceerd. We are the steel partner for construction and remodeling plans at home and abroad. Job content As a practical-minded professional with an eye for safety and quality, as an Assembly Worker you will work on a wide range of challenging projects, both nationally and internationally. You will often work at varied locations, mostly outdoors, which makes for a dynamic work environment. In this role you will be responsible for assembling various steel construction and complete construction projects on site. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that each project is completed with the highest standard of workmanship. This can range from local projects to unique assignments in Latin America and the Caribbean. As an (apprentice) assembly worker, you will also have the opportunity to learn and grow within the field while directly contributing to the success of our team.In addition, there is an opportunity to advance to site supervisor! What we ask of you • You have experience in assembling steel structures plus roof and wall sheeting • You can read drawings and place and adjust parts using lifting and hoisting tools • You are not afraid of heights; you have an aerial work platform certificate (or want to get one) • You have basic VCA (or want to get it) • You have driving license B +E (or you want to get one) • You have an eye for detail and quality • You can work well independently, but you can also work well as part of a team • And you have a flexible attitude • If you have little or no experience or training yet but assembly really seems like something for you please also respond, because as an accredited apprenticeship company we are happy to teach you the trade: learning-on-the-job What we offer you We are looking for true professionals in their profession.
