Description
Infleqtion is on a mission to commercialize atom-based quantum technologies that deliver orders of magnitude improvements in sensing and computing applications. We are seeking self-motivated, energetic, eager-to-learn individuals with exceptional operations skills to help drive our Quantum Computing mission forward. Requirements 10+ years of experience Master's Degree in AMO Physics or Physics Define and lead research strategy in time and frequency systems Conduct and oversee performance characterization, including stability, noise, accuracy, and other KPI analyses Develop deep understanding of system architecture and identify opportunities for improvement Provide architectural and component level recommendations to engineering and advanced systems teams Translate experimental results and characterization into product and system requirements Collaborate with systems engineering to ensure requirements are technically sound and achievable Preferred: PhD preferred in AMO Physics or Physics Lead analysis of fundamental performance limits and drift mechanisms, including effects from physics-driven phenomena to inform system behavior, stability, and long-term accuracy bounds Drive innovation for next generation timing technologies and product concepts Advance understanding of time distribution and dissemination methods and architectures Mentor and guide physicists and research staff in experimental methods and analysis Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex technical issues Contribute to intellectual property development, including patents and publications Engage with external partners, standards bodies, and the broader scientific community Ensure alignment between research activities and product and business objectives Support new-business proposals as necessary Benefits Salary range: $153000 to $269,000 per year 100% company-paid medical, dental, vision, short/long-term disability Employer-funded Health Savings Account Unlimited PTO 401(k) match Company-paid Life and AD&D Insurance Flexible Savings Account Paid FMLA, Maternity/Paternity Leave Employee Assistance Program Student Loan Repayment Equity Package
