Description Staff Nurse, Days Living Well Centre Band 5 (£24,907- £30,615 FTE dependant on experience) Part-time hours, weekend working 1-3 The Rowans Hospice Charity is an independent organisation offering specialist palliative care to patients with life limiting disease, located in Waterlooville, Hampshire. The Living Well Centre is a well-established community drop in centre situated adjacent to Rowans Hospice Charity. It provides information, support, therapies and group activities for anyone living with a life limiting illness in the community, carers and those that have been bereaved. An upcoming opportunity has arisen to join our Living Well Centre team as a Staff Nurse. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who will be responsible for a high-level delivery and implementation of programmes of care for our patients in association with the whole team. We are seeking an RGN registered and have proven post qualifying experience; knowledge of working within a palliative care setting would be desirable. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills are key to this role. The successful candidate will be required to work 30 hours per week over five days, (Monday – Friday). However, there may be a requirement to work occasional weekends dependant on the needs of the service.
