Snorkel AI is hiring a Staff Applied AI Engineer on the Pre-Sales team. You'll partner with Sales on technical strategy and evaluations, leading structured technical discovery with prospects, translating findings into well-defined GenAI solution architectures, and authoring proposals and Statements of Work for enterprise clients. What you'll do: • Partner with Sales on technical strategy and evaluations • Lead structured technical discovery with prospects • Translate discovery findings into well-defined GenAI solution architectures • Design, build, and deliver bespoke demos, including evaluation pipelines, dataset strategy, retrieval-augmented generation systems, fine-tuning workflows, prompt engineering strategies, and agentic architectures • Author proposals and Statements of Work • Develop reusable patterns into reference architectures • Travel up to 25% annually What we're looking for: • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Math/Statistics (or equivalent) • 8+ years in customer-facing technical roles • Hands-on Python proficiency (scikit-learn, pandas, Spark) • Familiarity with modern GenAI stack: LLM ecosystems, RAG, vector databases, synthetic dataset curation, evaluation workflows, LLM orchestration, agent authoring tools, prompt engineering, fine-tuned models • Rapid prototyping ability • Strong presentation skills for technical and executive audiences Locations: NYC, SF Bay Area, Redwood City, Austin, Dallas, Seattle, Atlanta, Nashville, Boston, Remote (US) Salary: $190,000 - $300,000 USD OTE + equity
