Discover what life at Route has to offer .   The team   The Route Product team plays a pivotal role at Route, creating the strategy and roadmaps that empower our Engineering teams to build innovative products for our merchants and consumers. Each product manager collaborates closely with partners across the entire business, which allows this team to continually dive deep into the data, feedback, and technology that drives our product suite at Route.    The opportunity   Route is looking for a Sr. Product Manager to lead Route’s Checkout product, owning the strategy, performance, and evolution of one of the company’s most critical consumer-facing experiences. You will be responsible for driving key business metrics including checkout conversion and take rate, while shaping how merchants and consumers engage with the Route platform at scale. You’ll own and shape the performance of one of Route’s most critical consumer experiences, influencing key business metrics like checkout conversion and take rate. In this role, you’ll partner directly with enterprise merchants on complex checkout integrations and work cross-functionally across the Product organization to ensure the checkout experience is seamlessly connected to the broader Route platform. You’ll have the opportunity to drive meaningful business impact, collaborate closely with senior leadership, and help define the future of how consumers experience Route at checkout. What you’ll do Drive the vision, strategy, and execution for Route’s consumer checkout experience, owning the product roadmap end-to-end Own and provide clarity around key business and product performance metrics, including take rate, conversion rate, contribution margin, and overall checkout performance Lead a high-quality experimentation cadence by developing hypotheses, prioritizing tests, reviewing experiment design, and presenting learnings and recommendations to leadership Partner directly with enterprise merchants to understand integration needs, customer pain points, and opportunities to improve the checkout experience at scale Make thoughtful tradeoff decisions across revenue-generating initiatives, merchant requests, platform investments, and long-term product scalability Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Analytics, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Executive leadership to prioritize and launch impactful product improvements Develop deep expertise in Route’s checkout and e-commerce ecosystem, continuously auditing the experience and advocating for both shoppers and merchants Write clear product requirements, rollout strategies, and documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences Operate with high ownership and urgency, navigating ambiguity, making decisions under pressure, and driving al
