Description
Who We Are: Banza reimagines your favorite comfort foods, like pasta, pizza, mac & cheese, and waffles, using chickpeas. Why? Because we know chickpeas aren’t just delicious, they’re also one of the most nutritious and sustainable foods. Yet 80% of the country isn’t eating enough of them. Our mission is to inspire people to eat more chickpeas and other beans, making a positive impact on human health and the environment. We’ve been named one of TIME Magazine’s Best Inventions of the Year, Adweek’s Best Food Brand, and are proud to have fans at Good Morning America, The New York Times, Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, and more.
Your Mission: We are looking for a Senior Omnichannel Media Manager to own and grow Banza's business, both online and in store, by driving consumer awareness, consideration, and conversion through a robust integrated media plan. You'll own the full-funnel media strategy, manage our agencies, develop the annual mix and budget, and use data to continuously optimize how we spend across paid search, social, display, retail media, and ecommerce. You're equally comfortable digging into a P&L, briefing a paid content asset, and negotiating with a retail media rep, and you know how to turn digital shelf data into a plan the whole cross-functional team can rally behind. You'll own Banza's digital growth, both in driving demand and converting it profitably.
What You’ll Do:
Own the day-to-day management and growth of Banza's e-commerce channels, including eatbanza.com (DTC), Amazon, and other pure-play and retailer.com platforms
Manage digital shelf health across retailers - content, imagery, ratings & reviews, search terms, and A+ content - to maximize conversion and findability
Plan and execute retail media and paid search campaigns (Amazon Ads, Instacart, Criteo, etc.) in partnership with our media agency, tracking ROAS and iterating in-flight
Lead promotional calendar planning for ecommerce channels, coordinating with Sales to align on pricing, timing, and inventory
Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to forecast demand, manage inventory health, and troubleshoot fulfillment issues
Set media KPIs, analyze ecommerce performance (sales, traffic, conversion, subscription retention), and turn insights into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership
Manage relationships with ecommerce and paid media agency and platform partners
Serve as the ecommerce subject matter expert cross-functionally, bringing digital-shelf and DTC best practices into broader brand and innovation conversations
Manage 3PL partners for Shopify sites (eatbanza.com and internal team samples)
Lead inventory management, including product demand planning and monthly reconciliation
Lead fulfillment and marketing kit logistics for all marketing sends (influencer, RDs, PR), product donations
Who You Are:
5-8 years of experience in performance marketing, growth hacking, quantitative finance, or someone who has built their own e-commerce business, ideally within CPG or food & beverage
Must have hands on experience managing Amazon (Vendor Central or Seller Central) and/or Shopify; demonstrated track record of driving growth
Must have experience planning and executing full funnel paid media campaigns: You understand how to brief an agency, set expectations, and optimize performance
Comfortable owning a budget and a P&L, and able to make the case for investment with data
Analytical and detail-oriented — you love a dashboard, but you can also tell the story behind the numbers
A proactive self-starter who can manage multiple workstreams and vendor relationships at once without a lot of oversight
A strong cross-functional collaborator who can bring Sales, Brand, and Supply Chain along with a plan
Passionate about what Banza's doing!
