A growing manufacturing organization in the Madison, WI area is seeking a Senior EHS&R Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives at a key production facility. This person will be tasked with driving a proactive safety culture while ensuring full regulatory compliance across operations. The role offers strong visibility with plant leadership and the opportunity to influence both day-to-day safety practices and long-term sustainability goals. It’s an excellent opportunity for a seasoned EHS professional that enjoys leadership responsibility, to make a measurable impact. The Role • Lead and promote a zero-incident safety culture through employee engagement and behavior-based safety programs • Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/local environmental regulations, including permitting and reporting • Partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and HR on process safety, MOC, and workers’ compensation programs • Drive environmental and sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and emergency preparedness The Candidate • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related technical field (preferred) • 7+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or other fields including: oil and gas, distribution (preferred) • Demonstrated ability to work self-sufficiently and make independent, time-sensitive decisions (required) • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, LOTO, machine guarding, ergonomics, and confined spaces (required) • Program ownership experience (required)
