Description
The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity, quality, and accessibility of data in to Citizens Data Lake. This role involves leading data management initiatives, developing data governance strategies, and ensuring data systems and processes support business needs. This role involves managing data resources, developing data management strategies, and supporting data-related projects. The Data Analyst will work closely with various departments to ensure data is properly maintained, analyzed, and utilized to support business objectives.Key Repsonsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain data management systems and processes for Citizens Data Lake.Oversee the collection, integration, and maintenance of data from multiple sources in to a AWS data lake. Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across all databases and systems.Collaborate with IT and business partners to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.Manage and optimize databases and data warehouses to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Monitor and optimize data storage, backup, and recovery processes.Identify and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.Write and refine complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.Desired Profile:Solid understanding of consumer banking/financial products and business processesStrong SQL knowledge is required.Scripting experience in SAS or python is a plus.Experience working in cloud environments, ideally AWS.Experience doing data discovery and analysis work with one or more commonly-used business intelligence tools, such as Tableau, SAS, Oracle, Microsoft, etc.Experience working with various operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux) and database management systems (Redshift, Oracle, MS-SQL, etc).Ability to collaborate effectively, take initiative and work as part of a teamStrong attention to detail, communicate clearly.Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data, or a similar technical field.Compensation Range:$100k-$120kIs this job not quite the right fit?
