In deze functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het produceren van producten van conventionele materialen tot zeer hoogwaardige materialen, zoals PEEK, PEI en PES voor de luchtvaartindustrie. Je houdt je bezig met het inbouwen van matrijzen en het opstarten van spuitgietprocessen. Hierbij signaleer je problemen, verbetermogelijkheden en voer je procesoptimalisatie door. In deze functie draag je zorg voor de machine en matrijs. Dit betekent dat je de machine opstart en afsluit, schoonmaakt en een probleem constateert indien dat voorkomt. Je weet zelfstandig hoe de machines werken en hoe je een proces opstart en afsluit. Je bent onderdeel van het team Processing/Spuitgiet Operators, een team dat bestaat uit tien Spuitgiet Operators. Het team is verdeeld over drie groepen, namelijk de ‘Cheetah’ dat zich richt op kleine complexe producten. De groep ‘Schildpad’ houdt zich bezig met complexere producten waar nabewerking voor nodig is en de groep ‘Olifant’ richt zich op grote complexe producten met en zonder nabewerking op grote machines.
