The YMCA of Greater Boston is searching for a Sports Instructor to lead a group of children and adults of all ages instructing sports classes. Classes are on weekday afternoons and weekend mornings. Candidate must possess excellent child/parent communication skills, expertise in a variety of sports and the ability to work independently. Education & Experience : One to two years related experience preferred; for example, as an sports coach or volunteer. CPR, First Aid and Emergency Oxygen certifications, Child Abuse Prevention Training. These trainings are provided upon hire.    Skills & Competencies : Excellent relationship building and conflict resolution skills in order to facilitate positive relationships with parents, staff, children, and community partners. Excellent coaching skills providing clear instruction, feedback and positive motivation.  Detail oriented, strong organizational and planning skills Ability to manage small and large groups children and/or adults   Qualities Needed: Energetic, motivated and well organized individual who has a passion for children and sports.
