As an Application Support Specialist, you will provide essential support for proprietary trading applications and market specialists, performing a variety of technical troubleshooting and engineering activities including deployment, software configuration, and system monitoring in a dynamic trading environment. What You'll Do • Provide seamless production support, software deployment, configuration, and proactive monitoring to anticipate and prevent issues • Support proprietary trading systems deployed in a multiplatform production environment • Deliver technical support during trading operations to resolve issues affecting strategic trading applications • Analyze trading strategies with traders and research teams • Perform technical troubleshooting, software deployment, and system monitoring What You Need • 2–3 years of application support experience • Foundational networking knowledge (multicast, TCP, routing) • Basic scripting skills such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash • Experience working in Linux and/or Windows environments • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage high pressure and time constraints calmly • Strong organisational skills including planning and prioritisation • Availability to work multiple shift rotations (nights/early mornings) Nice to Have • Prior experience in financial markets or financial trading applications • Prior experience with configuration management tools such as Chef and Ansible • Prior experience with Docker containers • Prior experience with monitoring suites such as Splunk, Kibana, and Grafana Industry-leading benefits and benefits package; commitment to continuous training and development; focus on employee wellbeing and work-life balance
