About the role
Our client is a leading international organisation based in Geneva, dedicated to combating major global pandemics. Its Finance & Administration Division is recruiting a Specialist, Strategy Delivery to join the Strategic Financial Accelerator & Optimization (SFAO) team.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, SFAO, or the Deputy CFO, you play a central role in the transformation and strategic coordination of the Finance & Administration Division. You ensure operational coherence, drive performance monitoring and lead key communications to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy, Governance & Communications
• Develop the Division's strategy and operational plan in alignment with organisational priorities
• Lead the coordination of a holistic annual work plan, including key milestones and interdependencies with stakeholder groups
• Prepare reports and papers for governance bodies (Committees, Board)
• Coordinate follow-up and monitoring of audit recommendations
2. Strategic Workforce Planning & Resource Management
• Develop a robust, evidence-based resource management methodology aligned with HR principles
• Advise the Finance Leadership Team on resource allocation and reallocation
• Lead resource realignment exercises with a structured change management approach
3. Performance Management
• Design and operationalise the Division's Performance Management Framework
• Maintain a KPI tracking tool and build an early warning system for senior management
• Coordinate the Business Review Platform for monthly and quarterly reporting
• Consolidate performance data into divisional dashboards
Candidate Profile
Education
• Master's degree in Finance, MBA (Finance), Economics or equivalent
• Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is an asset
Experience
• Minimum 8 years of experience in resource planning, performance management and data analysis
• Background in an international consultancy, multilateral organisation, investment bank or government body
• Proficiency in financial information systems and reporting tools
• Strong expertise in change management and complex project delivery
Skills & Competencies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate financial matters to non-technical audiences
• Results-oriented, with a high degree of personal initiative
• Multicultural sensitivity and experience in an international environment
• Fluent English required; French is an asset
