What you’ll do Your engineering ingenuity, wonder & magic in coming up with a  power tra in  that supports the concepts will be instrumental in shaping the perception of Scout as a brand, as well as gaining peer admiration in the automotive industry.      Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: Own assigned powertrain and drive system calibration activities from prototype through production release.   Be a part of the vision of engineering excellence & source of knowledge   Take over responsibility for the calibration milestones, tracking and calibration test trips   Calibrate & create with collaboration, a Scout specific driving experience that allows other teams to contribute and implement their necessities    BEV/ EREV:  Modify vehicle and powertrain calibration of monitoring, diagnostic and vehicle control functions   Support the function calibration engineers with the needed measurement equipment, cars and creating calibration dataset    Liaise with the powertrain hardware and chassis tuning team to propose technical input    Lead calibration execution, validation, and release readiness activities across prototype and serial development phases.   Partner with the whole vehicle, production and quality teams to come up with solution to engineering & functional challenges    Hands-on prototyping and building capability, from initial operation to coordinating and implementing software   Be involved other related tasks / activities as required   Serve as a technical specialist for calibration processes, datasets, and validation activities within assigned systems   Location & Travel Expectations : This role may be based out of the  Scout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC or Novi, MI .  This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.  Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the
