Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Croydon - SEN School - 95- 115 a day (depending on experience) - Full Time - Immediate Start • Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN required • Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Experience working with autism, SLD, PMLD or complex needs desirable • Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Must be confident supporting communication, behaviour and learning • Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Required full time ASAP Have you previously worked as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant? Do you have experience supporting pupils with additional or complex needs? Are you able to commute easily to Croydon? If yes, then this Special Needs Teaching Assistant role is for you The Role - Special Needs Teaching Assistant Seeking a patient and proactive Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 4-19 within a specialist setting. You will work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils access learning and work towards their EHCP outcomes. The role involves supporting pupils with autism, severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties and associated communication needs, promoting independence, encouraging positive behaviour and contributing to a structured and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive. The School - Special Needs Teaching Assistant This specialist provision is located in the London Borough of Croydon and is within walking distance of a nearby National Rail station. The school supports pupils with a wide range of complex special educational needs and provides personalised learning, therapeutic support and a nurturing environment focused on communication, independence and life skills development.
