Description
The Middle School Student Services Facilitator serves as a key communicator between the Student Services Department and the site. Duties include ensuring that staff is functioning in compliance with IDEA, state and federal regulations and district special education policies and procedures. The facilitator helps mentor and coach staff regarding student services, and assists with student evaluations. Position Details *This position is in conjunction with job # 3461, Teacher- Special Education Resource * REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree Valid Arizona special education certification Thorough working knowledge of the various theories, teaching strategies, and techniques applicable to special education students Knowledge of materials available or needed for the educational progress of special education students Knowledge of Federal and State Special Education laws and requirements Full job description here .
