Role Overview Apply your Spanish language expertise to improve how AI systems understand and generate Spanish from Spain. You will correct machine-generated transcriptions, add precise metadata and linguistic annotations, and ensure data quality so models learn and reason more accurately. About the organization Work with a leading AI data lab that converts real-world subject matter knowledge into high-quality training data, evaluations, and feedback used to train frontier AI models. No prior AI experience is required, your domain and language skills are the priority. Key Responsibilities • Review and correct machine-generated Spanish (Spain) transcriptions for accuracy and naturalness. • Apply precise metadata tags and add comprehensive linguistic annotations to audio and text datasets. • Ensure each item complies with project linguistic guidelines and quality standards. • Use strong attention to detail to validate transcription and annotation quality. • Communicate clearly in written and verbal forms with the project team and collaborators. • Collaborate with customer team members to resolve language ambiguities and improve data quality. • Identify inconsistencies proactively and suggest process improvements to enhance data collection and annotation workflows. Qualifications Required • Fluent Spanish, specifically the Spain variant, with strong linguistic intuition. • Experience in transcription, annotation, and applying metadata tags to language data. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in remote, multicultural environments. • Ability to critically assess and correct machine-generated linguistic output. • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and meeting strict deadlines. • Proficient with digital tools for language data management. Preferred • Previous work as an audio engineer, data annotator, or professional transcriber. • Familiarity with language technology and AI-driven transcription tools. • Background in linguistics or a related field. Work Terms • Engagement type, contractor, remote. • No prior AI experience required, the role depends on language and annotation skills. Compensation • Pay range: 10 to 20 hourly. Eligibility • Fluent Spanish (Spain) is required. • Must be able to work remotely as an independent contractor.
