Job Description: Sous Chef – Jackson-Triggs Estate Winery Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON Jackson-Triggs Estate Winery, part of Arterra Wines Canada , is one of Canada’s most recognized wine brands. Located in the heart of Niagara wine country, our estate offers patio dining, restaurant service, private events, and our popular Summer Concert Series in our vineyard amphitheatre . We are looking for a passionate Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef and help deliver exceptional culinary experiences that complement our premium VQA wines. What You’ll Do • Support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations • Lead and supervise the culinary team during service • Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and safety standards • Execute food service for patio, restaurant, events, and concert nights • Assist with menu development and special event execution • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment Qualifications • Red Seal Certification • 3–5 years of professional culinary experience • Strong leadership and teamwork skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment • Knowledge of dietary restrictions and menu adaptation • Food Safe Handler Certification • Availability for evenings and weekends What We Offer/Compensation • $24/hour + gratuities • Training and career development opportunities • Creative and dynamic hospitality environment • Opportunity to work at one of Niagara’s most exciting culinary and live music destinations We are committed to establishing a qualified workforce that reflects the diverse population it serves and we encourage applications from all qualified individuals.
