Description
Lirvana Labs builds AI-native personalized learning solutions for K-12 education. This Solutions Architect role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and sales—owning the technical delivery of customer solutions from discovery through deployment, with hands-on coding responsibilities and direct accountability for closing deals.
What You'll Do
• Run technical discovery with customers to understand pain points and translate them into concrete user stories and requirements
• Design and build solutions on top of the company's infrastructure, determining what can be customized versus what is off-limits
• Write production code end-to-end: design, implementation, deployment, and handoff of customer solutions
• Partner with Sales to drive opportunities to close by demonstrating technical credibility and articulating clear value
• Work directly with school leaders (principals, superintendents, administrators) to build trust and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Feed the product roadmap by identifying when opportunities require net-new infrastructure or capabilities
What You Need
• 3+ years of software development experience with mid-level proficiency
• Experience designing and building distributed, fault-tolerant computing architectures
• Intermediate SQL and Python, Java, or Rust skills—able to read, write, and debug code independently
• Development experience with RAG and agentic workflows, building GenAI applications
• Hands-on experience with cloud hyperscalers (GCP, AWS)
• Proven track record delivering high-quality software through a full Product Development Life Cycle
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
Nice to Have
• Experience in education or EdTech sector
• Background as a PM who transitioned to engineering, or as a Technical Product Manager, Solutions Engineer, or Sales Engineer
• Startup experience and comfort with ambiguity
• Command of data collection and ingestion across web and mobile SDKs and backend integrations
• Proven experience integrating, building, and consuming RESTful APIs and gRPC services
