Description
Do you want to shape the future of Enterprise Asset & Portfolio Management? What if you could architect a ServiceNow domain used across a global industrial technology leader—and have the mandate to influence not only today's solutions, but the platform strategy for years ahead? Why Sandvik? At Sandvik, we're building the next generation of enterprise workflows. As a Solution Architect for Asset & Portfolio, you'll be at the centre of that journey, helping us create scalable, sustainable and intelligent solutions that support thousands of users worldwide. This is more than an implementation role. You'll shape architectural direction, challenge assumptions, influence investment decisions and drive standards that keep our platform resilient, scalable and future-ready. You’ll join a focused, expert team working at the core of our digital landscape. About the job You act as the technical design authority for the Asset & Portfolio domain within our ServiceNow platform. You operate within the Platform Architecture & Governance team, translating validated business needs into scalable, secure, and sustainable technical solutions while safeguarding platform integrity. The Asset & Portfolio domain contains capabilities such as Application Portfolio Management (APM), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Software Asset Management (SAM) and more. Job responsibilities Define target architectures and architectural roadmap for your domain Make strategic technology decisions that balance capability, maintainability and cost Champion an OOTB-first mindset and challenge unnecessary customisation Review designs, code and implementation approaches to safeguard platform quality Lead platform health, upgrade readiness and technical debt initiatives Guide engineers and implementation partners with architectural leadership and mentorship Play a key role in preparing the platform for future innovations, including AI-driven capabilities and automation Location This role is based in Sandviken or World Trade Center in Stockholm. Your profile You see architecture as more than solution design and you combine deep ServiceNow expertise with curiosity, business understanding and a passion for building platforms that last. A structured mindset and the confidence to challenge non-standard solutions help you thrive in complex environments. You also bring: Extensive experience designing enterprise-scale solutions within ServiceNow or similar platforms Strong knowledge within HAM, SAM, SPM, APM or related domains A proven track record of driving platform transformation and reducing technical debt Strong understanding of platform governance, quality controls and lifecycle management Ability to contribute to cost estimations and articulate technical and commercial impacts Relevant academic background or equivalent experience in IT operations or service management ServiceNow certifications such as CSA and CIS (CTA or clear path to CTA is a plus) You’re comfortable engaging with stakeholders across the organization and translating complex needs into clear technical direction. You bring a collaborative mindset and communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences. Balancing detail with a strategic view comes naturally, and you’re driven to improve quality while ensuring long-term sustainability. Our culture At Sandvik, we’re tech driven, innovative and entrepreneurial. We believe that success is a team effort so we value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive culture where people can be themselves and reach their full potential. So, we invest in supporting each other, learning together and celebrating our differences. Visit our stories hub, LinkedIn or Facebook to get to know us further.
