£42k - 50k per year Job Type: Full Time Duties: Solar PV Electrician Coventry | £42,000 - £50,000 DOE | Permanent | 40-48 Hours per Week Be part of something new - backed by the strength of a major UK organisation. We're recruiting on behalf of a leading national business launching an exciting new residential Solar PV division. The Role Working as part of a small installation crew, you'll be responsible for the electrical installation, testing, commissioning and connection of residential Solar PV systems, ensuring every installation is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. Your responsibilities will include: Installing, testing and commissioning domestic Solar PV systems Completing AC and DC wiring, inverter installations and consumer unit connections Configuring inverters, battery storage systems and monitoring platforms Carrying out electrical testing, fault finding and diagnostics Ensuring all installations comply with BS7671, MCS and G98/G99 regulations Completing commissioning certificates and installation documentation Liaising with installation teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently Delivering a professional handover to customers, explaining system operation and answering any questions Maintaining the highest standards of health and safety and customer service What We're Looking For ✔ NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent) ✔ 18th Edition Wiring Regulations ✔ Inspection & Testing Qualification (2391, 2394/2395 or equivalent) ✔ Previous domestic electrical installation experience ✔ Proven Solar PV installation and commissioning experience ✔ Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills ✔ Full UK Driving Licence ✔ Excellent communication and customer service skills What's on Offer £42,000-£50,000 depending on experience Permanent, full-time opportunity Company vehicle and equipment provided during working hours Ongoing training and professional development Genuine career progression within a rapidly expanding renewable energy division Opportunity to help build a brand-new service backed by a leading UK organisation Supportive team environment with quality and customer satisfaction at its core If you're looking for your next challenge and want to play a key role in the future of residential renewable energy, we'd love to hear from you.
