Software Project Manager – Active Safety Products Location: Gothenburg, Sweden Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to lead the development activities for active safety products. This role involves managing software design, requirements development, and verification processes for embedded systems. The successful candidate will oversee software projects from planning to execution, including requirements analysis, risk management, and supply chain coordination, working with global development teams across Sweden, India, Germany, and Poland. Key Responsibilities: Lead software development activities, including: Software design and requirements development. Requirements management and change planning. Unit testing, HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), and bench verification. Plan, manage, and track software project progress. Oversee error management, risk assessments, and supply chain management. Collaborate with  development teams and internal project managers. Required Qualifications: Education: MSc or BSc in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent. Experience: 15+ years of work experience in software development for the automotive industry. Proficiency in C/C++ programming and object-oriented development. Hands-on experience with embedded software development and testing. Expertise in SW configuration management tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion). Familiarity with change management tools (e.g., JIRA). Languages: Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. Desired Skills: Experience in radar or vision system development. Knowledge of active safety function development. Familiarity with ISO 26262 safety analyses and development. Understanding of Agile/Scrum development principles. Generic AUTOSAR knowledge and experience in serial communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet). Proficiency in AUTOSAR configuration and embedded system debugging. Personal Attributes: Self-motivated and independent, with a results-oriented approach. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with diverse teams. Adaptable to high-pressure and ambiguous environments. Service-minded, communicative, and professional demeanor.
