Harbinger: Familiar Form, Revolutionary Foundation. Role Overview As Engineering Manager, you will lead our multidisciplinary Platform team (Frontend, Backend, and DevOps) in Garden Grove, CA. You will drive the development of critical initiatives, including the Fleet dashboard, payment integration systems, and vehicle configuration tools, while acting as a strategic bridge between firmware and software engineering. In this role, you will resolve cross-functional conflicts, manage prioritization, and foster a culture of technical excellence and delivery. Automotive not required. Key Responsibilities Lead and grow the Platform team across Frontend, Backend, and DevOps. Manage high-impact web and app products, including our Fleet management dashboard SaaS product, OTA and release management platform, vehicle configuration management, and Harbinger phone app. Lead on architecture, technology, and hiring roadmap for the platform team. Build complex visual dashboards Provide guidance and mentorship on architectural and technical decision making, in setting up the products for scalability and alignment with the product roadmap. Foster a collaborative team culture focused on end-to-end delivery and technical excellence. Manage internal technical teams and external design teams towards delivery targets. Required Skills & Experience   Domain agility: Automotive experience is not a requirement; we value the ability to transfer expertise from other domains (e.g., mapping, IoT, consumer applications). Deep technical expertise with solid architectural understanding and hands-on experience in React and/or GoLang. Proven track record of cross-functional leadership and end-to-end delivery. Experience with telemetry, real-time data visualization, and geospatial dashboards. Preferred Qualifications Experience with IoT, telemetry, and real-time distributed systems. Familiarity with workflow management tools such as Jira, Git. Background in vehicle or asset tracking systems.
