Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Location: Remote (Charlotte, NC) Company: Tuesday Health is a value-based palliative care provider group dedicated to transforming serious illness and end-of-life care. We deliver goal-centered care focused on alleviating physical symptoms and emotional stress for individuals and their caregivers. Role: We're hiring our first dedicated SDET to own test automation across our product suite. You'll design, build, and maintain automated test suites for web, API, and mobile applications. This is a high-ownership role on a small, senior onshore team. A defining feature: we are an AI-forward engineering organization using Claude Enterprise heavily across our SDLC. Key Responsibilities: Own end-to-end test automation for Blazor WebAssembly front end (e.g., Playwright) Build and maintain API test coverage for .NET Core back-end APIs, Azure Function apps, and authentication service Establish mobile test automation for .NET MAUI mobile application (iOS and Android) Leverage Claude Enterprise to generate, refactor, and maintain test scripts efficiently Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines Track and report quality metrics (escaped defects, coverage, flaky test rates) Partner with developers to make testability a first-class concern Perform targeted exploratory testing where automation isn't the right tool Qualifications: Required: 4+ years in test automation, SDET, or software engineering roles with a strong testing focus Strong C#/.NET skills – production-quality test code Hands-on experience with modern UI automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, or similar) Experience building API-level test suites (REST, integration testing) Experience wiring test automation into CI/CD pipelines Comfort using AI tools (Claude, Copilot, or similar) as a core part of workflow Self-directed and comfortable owning a domain on a small team Nice to Have: Experience testing Blazor applications (bUnit, Playwright against WASM apps) Mobile automation experience (Appium, .NET MAUI UI testing, or similar) Experience testing authentication/authorization flows (OAuth, OIDC) Healthcare or regulated-industry experience; familiarity with HIPAA and PHI handling Performance or load testing experience Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines specifically Tech Stack: Front end: Blazor WebAssembly Back end: .NET Core APIs, Azure Function apps, separate auth service API Mobile: .NET MAUI (iOS and Android) Cloud: Azure App Services, Azure ecosystem AI tooling: Claude Enterprise, used throughout the SDLC DevOps: Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines) Benefits: Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, holidays, employer 401(K) match Remote work with multiple onsite sessions each year Dynamic and inclusive team environment Meaningful work
