Job Title: Software Development Engineer
Job Summary: We're looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to help build the technology that enables our communities, from small gatherings to our largest events. At The Pokémon Company International (TPCi), technology plays a critical role in creating experiences that connect millions of Pokémon fans around the world. In this role, you'll design, develop, and support scalable software solutions while partnering closely with product, design, and engineering teams. You'll tackle complex technical challenges, contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, and help advance engineering best practices. Through strong technical execution and collaboration, you'll play a key role in delivering reliable , innovative, and engaging experiences for the global Pokémon community.

What you’ll do
Software Development & Technical Execution
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions and services.
Lead the implementation of complex features and technical initiatives from design through production.
Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code while adhering to engineering best practices and quality standards.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving software quality, reliability, and performance.
Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
Technical Collaboration & Problem Solving
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Contribute to technical design discussions and help evaluate architecture, implementation approaches, and tradeoffs.
Break down complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Support system improvements that enhance performance, maintainability, security, and operational excellence.
Identify opportunities to improve development processes, tooling, and team efficiency.
Team Impact

What you’ll bring
Experience & Impact
Five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant professional experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise .
Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience delivering software solutions through the full development lifecycle.
Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex technical problems and drive work to completion.
Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Proven ability to mentor and guide other engineers through technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
