Social Worker – Safeguarding Service 📍 West Sussex | 💷 £42 per hour | 🏠 Hybrid Working Are you an experienced Children's Social Worker looking for your next contract opportunity? We are currently working with a highly regarded local authority in West Sussex seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Service on a full-time basis, paying an excellent rate of £42 per hour . This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and well-established team that is committed to delivering high-quality interventions and achieving positive outcomes for vulnerable children and their families. The Role As a Social Worker within the Safeguarding Service, you will hold a varied caseload involving: • Child in Need planning • Child Protection work • Section 47 investigations • Public Law Outline (PLO) processes • Court proceedings where required • Direct work with children and families to reduce risk and improve outcomes You will work closely with partner agencies including education, health professionals, police and legal services to ensure children receive the right support at the right time.
