Description
ABOUT NEXVEL Since 2014, Nexvel has helped local businesses — home services companies, healthcare organizations, franchises, professional service firms, and growing regional brands — compete in a tech-driven world. Our mission is to bring the big-brand experience to local brands. Today we're building a new kind of agency model: combining a decade of local business marketing expertise with AI-assisted workflows, automation, and modern client success systems. We're looking for social media specialist who can help us deliver that experience at a higher level. THE ROLE Nexvel is seeking a part-time Social Media Specialist who understands both the art and science of social media specializing in organic content. Bonus if you have paid social experience (boosting, paid Meta Ads) This is a hands-on role for someone who can identify what makes content engaging, capture compelling social-first content, create polished organic posts, edit short-form video, and consistently publish content across multiple client accounts. You will support a portfolio of local businesses across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. The right candidate understands current platform trends, knows how to adapt content for different audiences and brands, and can manage the day-to-day execution required to keep client social channels active, relevant, and effective. RESPONSBILITIES Develop monthly content calendars and post concepts aligned with each client’s brand, audience, and marketing priorities. 10% travel to client locations throughout Philadelphia, Bucks County, Montgomery County, and surrounding areas to capture social-first video and photography. Create branded graphics, carousels, stories, and other organic social content using Canva. Edit Reels, TikToks and other short-form videos using CapCut, in-platform editing tools, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar software. Write engaging captions and adapt messaging across different industries, audiences, and brand voices. Schedule, publish, and quality-check content across multiple social platforms using tools such as SocialPilot, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms. Stay current on social media trends, content formats, platform updates, trending audio, and audience behavior. Review automated social media reports and basic performance metrics, including reach, engagement, video views, watch time, audience growth, and top-performing content. Use performance insights to improve future content concepts, formats, posting schedules, and creative execution. Partner with Nexvel’s account lead to gather client input, manage content approvals, and ensure content aligns with broader marketing priorities. Use AI tools to support research, ideation, caption development, content repurposing, workflow efficiency, and quality control while maintaining human oversight and brand accuracy. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Required 2 to 3 years of professional social media experience within an agency, or in-house client side marketing team. Agency experience or experience supporting multiple brands or accounts is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, including platform-specific content formats and best practices. Demonstrated ability to create engaging organic social media content. Proficiency in Canva and CapCut is required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, in-platform editing tools, or similar creative software is preferred. Experience using social media scheduling and publishing platforms such as SocialPilot, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Later, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools. Ability to capture high-quality, social-first video and photography using a smartphone and lightweight production equipment. Strong writing and editing skills, including the ability to adapt captions and messaging across different industries and brand
