We are currently seeking Social Care Workers to support Avista’s Community Residential Services for individuals with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities in the Annacotty and Castletroy areas of Limerick. Location: Avista – Limerick Community Residential Services (Annacotty & Castletroy) Lines of Work Available There is ongoing demand for agency staff to cover the following shifts: • Sleepover Shifts: 15:00 – 09:00 (Sleeping hours are 23:00 – 07:00) • Weekend Long Day Shifts • Weekend Sleepover Shifts Service Overview • Community-based residential houses • Residents have mild to moderate intellectual disabilities • A strong focus on promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life Key Requirements • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is highly preferred • Medication management training is desired; however, online medication training will be provided to staff who do not already hold this competency • Full, clean driving licence and access to own transport are desirable, as some houses are not easily accessible by public transport • Ability to work independently: once fully oriented and inducted, staff may be required to complete lone working in the houses please forward a copy of your CV for review to: Seáuna O’Connor [email protected] Call Cpl Healthcare on 014825428 for more information Visit www.cplhealthcare.com for more Social Care jobs
