We are currently looking to recruit for Sleever Operative/ Warehouse Operatives to join our Chill Department at Droitwich Dairy within our Müller Milk & Ingredients business.
The purpose of this role is to operate our manufacturing machinery in order to produce the best quality product. You will need to have a strong team working ethic, be results driven and proactive.
Contract: Full Time/Permanent
Salary: Starting from £33,195.93 plus overtime premiums
Shift Pattern: Rotating (6am-3pm and 3pm-12 midnight)
Location: Droitwich
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
• Operate our machinery and processes effectively, delivering the required product output.
• Quality control inspection, assuring customer expectation are maintained.
• Maintain hygiene standards within the workplace as per standard working conditions.
• System upkeep and related responsibilities.
• Cleaning activities.
• Materials replenishment as required.
• First line maintenance checks.
Muller Responsibilities:
• Maintain high standards of hygiene
• Comply with food safety requirements and adhere to site quality procedures
• Maintaining chill standards whilst looking to constantly improve
• Take reasonable care for the health, safety and welfare of themselves and others that may be affected by their acts or omissions
• Cooperate with the company, so far as is necessary, to enable the company to perform or comply with any required or imposed duties imposed under relevant statutory provision
• Actively promote and comply with all company policies, procedures and values
Demonstrable skills, experience and knowledge within the following:
• Previous manual packing work desirable, though not necessary
• Teamwork & Collaboration
• Capability & Accountability
• A flexible approach; able to adapt to changing daily production plans
• A good listener/communicator
• Able to demonstrate initiative and prioritisation skills
• Effective team worker
