Skip Truck Driver Walsh Waste & Recycling is currently seeking a dependable, safety-conscious and customer-focused Skip Truck Driver to join our growing operations team in Oranmore. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering exceptional service and is comfortable using mobile technology to manage daily work activities. Reporting to the Solid Waste Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of skips for commercial and domestic customers throughout the region. About the role • Safely operate Roll-On/Roll-Off (RORO) and Chain Lift Skip Trucks in accordance with company procedures and road traffic regulations. • Deliver, exchange and collect skips from customer sites efficiently and professionally. • Use company smartphone applications to receive job assignments, update job status and communicate operational information in real time. • Carry out daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical issues or defects. • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism and environmental compliance.
