Site Supervisor • Based in Doncaster • Full-time, permanent position • £32,000 plus overtime and benefits • Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with participation in an on-call rota • Ex-Military candidates encouraged to apply • To find out more, call Beth on 07719 983 823 or email [email protected] Are you an experienced Site Supervisor with a background in environmental services, emergency response or operational team leadership? We’re recruiting for a hands-on role overseeing teams across customer sites and a busy operational depot in Doncaster. You’ll lead planned and reactive works, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This position would suit someone who leads from the front, communicates confidently with customers and remains calm when managing fast-moving or emergency situations. About the Client: We’re supporting an established UK organisation delivering environmental, emergency response and specialist operational services. What You’ll Be Doing: • Leading operational teams across customer sites and within the depot • Ensuring planned and reactive works are completed safely, efficiently and on time • Managing teams during emergency spill response and HAZMAT operations • Providing clear workscopes and practical leadership to colleagues and customers • Ensuring compliance with risk assessments and method statements • Reporting health and safety breaches and completing detailed incident reports • Supporting the preparation of job packs, RAMS and project documentation • Providing regular updates on project progress, programme changes and costs • Arranging the equipment, plant and vehicles required for each project • Operating company vehicles and equipment when appropriately qualified • Ensuring vehicles, equipment and plant are inspected, cleaned and maintained • Reporting defects promptly and ensuring operational assets remain ready for use • Liaising professionally with customers throughout ongoing works • Identifying opportunities to introduce customers to additional services • Completing operational paperwork accurately and within required timescales • Delivering toolbox talks and collating daily site documentation • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe depot environment • Deputising for colleagues, including the Operations Manager, when required • Participating in the on-call Duty Manager rota • Working away from home when operational requirements demand it What We Need From You: • Previous experience supervising operational teams and on-site projects • Strong knowledge of emergency spill response procedures • Experience working within environmental services, HAZMAT, industrial services or a related sector • Experience producing and completing RAMS documentation • IOSH Managing Safely qualification • Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme qualification • A strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements • The ability to provide clear instructions and lead teams in pressured environments • Strong planning, organisation and resource management skills • Confidence managing planned, reactive and emergency works • The ability to complete accurate reports, site paperwork and operational documentation • Strong written and verbal communication skills • A professional and customer-focused approach • The ability to meet deadlines and manage changing priorities • Willingness to work outdoors in a range of weather conditions • Flexibility to work away from home when required • Willingness to complete additional training and qualifications • A full UK driving licence and confidence operating vehicles or equipment where qualified Benefits: • Overtime opportunities • Company pension • Life assurance at four times your salary • Healthcare cash plan, including support with dental, medical and therapeutic treatments • The option to add up to four dependants to the healthcare plan • Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay and leave • Employee assistance programme • Access to GP appointments and mental health support • Competitive annual leave plus bank holidays • Refer a friend scheme • Training and career progression opportunities Ex-Military candidates with experience in operational leadership, emergency response, hazardous materials, logistics, engineering, transport, health and safety or managing teams in demanding environments are encouraged to apply.
