Description
Discipline: Site Safety Management Services 1. Overview The Contractor shall provide on-site safety management services to support construction activities for a solar field project at White Sands Missile Range. Services shall ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, project requirements, and best practices to maintain a safe working environment. 2. Staffing Requirements Provide one (1) qualified Safety Manager dedicated to the project site. The Safety Manager shall be present on-site during active construction hours based on a standard weekday schedule (approximately 8.5-hour shifts). Overtime, night shifts, weekends, and holidays shall be provided only when requested and approved. 3. Scope of Services The Safety Manager shall oversee daily jobsite safety, perform inspections, identify hazards, coordinate corrective actions, conduct toolbox talks, provide safety guidance, maintain documentation, and support Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) development and review. 4. Deliverables Daily safety reports, inspection logs, toolbox talk documentation, JHA review comments, incident reports, corrective action tracking, and weekly summaries if requested. 5. Schedule & Duration Services will be provided on a monthly basis aligned with construction schedule. Specific duration to be defined in contract, however expected duration is 4 months (16 weeks) initially. We have a short gap in November and will issue an additional change order for the last 6 to 8 weeks.   Requirements 1. Contractor Qualifications Demonstrated experience in construction safety oversight. Relevant certifications preferred (OSHA 30, CHST, CSP, or equivalent). Experience with solar or industrial projects preferred.
