Internal JOB DESCRIPTION: Site Quality Manager Objective: To describe the role’s areas of responsibilities, interfaces and competency requirements. POSITION DETAILSJob title Site Quality Manager Department and BU Quality Level of position 5 Title of Line Manager Site ManagerJob Location : Minia MAIN PURPOSE Provide core quality management services that will be used to support the development and project work streams in all their relevant activities. The core support services will include the management of Quality Assurance and Quality Control, Management of quality documents, Maintain and report on Non-conformance register on site and advise Site Manager and Project Manager on quality issues on site as well as taking part in internal audits of the project. CORE RESPONSABILITIESManage the site quality team and support the corporate quality organization to ensure all quality goals across the PV plant, BESS, and HV substation Packages are met.Promote compliance and awareness of the project quality management system (QMS), fostering a strong quality culture onsite.Ensure compliance with all contractual, company, grid operator, and local authority requirementsConduct regular audits on contractors and subcontractors.Ensure all quality‑related Turnover (TTO) documentation is complete, compliant, and available in time for energization and handover milestones.Prepare monthly and biweekly quality reports summarizing inspection findings, NCR trends, risks, and quality KPIs.Review and follow up on Supplier/Subcontractor NCRs, ensuring corrective actions are implementedReview and approve Supplier/Subcontractor quality documents (ITPs, FAT plans, procedures, method statements), or assign proper technical reviewers and ensure timely distribution to project teams.Lead or support quality refresher sessions during contractor kickoff meetings, ensuring alignment on quality expectations, standards, and documentation.Review and approve Quality Plans from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring implementation IF APPLICABLE - SPECIFIC RESPONSABILITIES IN REGION OR COUNTRY SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES A role should mainly have the same generic responsibilities regardless of which country it sits in. CRITICAL INTERFACESProject Direct Report:Site ManagerMatrix Organization Report:Quality Manager CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES6.1 Qualifications Education: Min: University degree in Engineering Experience: Min:At least 3 years’ experience in Quality management in renewable energy projects.Quality management professional with wide experience in process management, inspection, site construction and installationVerifiable record in quality management on several complex projects in ‘medium’ to ‘high focus’ environmentsExperience in the development and implementation of project QA/QC plansCompetent to lead specialist peer-assist and review teams Language: Fluent both written and spoken in (Local Language) Fluent both written and spoken in English (Depending on the country, reduced to Intermediately level) Others: Driver license Technical competencies and skillsGood knowledge in ISO 9001:2015Hands-on: understanding of being interested in how things work out in the fieldDedicated and someone who takes “ownership” to tasks and responsibilitiesFlexible and adaptable with a “can-do” attitude (“no task is too small – no task is too big”)Take “ownership” to tasks and responsibilitiesAssertiveness and organizational skillsFully computer literate and an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packagesA sound understanding of commercial impact of quality decisions on the project.Skilled at identifying project critical success factors and adopting appropriate risk management practicesBroad understanding of quality principles and ability to oversee their implementation IF APPLICABLE: Specific technical competencies in region or countryA role should mainly have the same generic critical competencies regardless of which country it sits in.
