Site Facilities Engineer – HVAC & Cleanroom Systems Position Summary The Site Facilities Engineer – HVAC & Cleanroom Systems is responsible for maintaining and expanding all HVAC and cleanroom infrastructure supporting semiconductor manufacturing. The engineer ensures environmental stability, particle control and regulatory compliance while supporting production expansion and installation of new equipment. Key Responsibilities HVAC Systems · Manage HVAC systems serving offices, technical areas and cleanrooms. · Optimize temperature and humidity control. · Manage chilled water and heating systems related to HVAC. · Coordinate maintenance contractors. Cleanroom Systems · Maintain ISO classified cleanroom environments. · Monitor airflow performance. · Manage pressure cascades. · Coordinate HEPA and ULPA filter replacement. · Support cleanroom certification activities. Environmental Monitoring · Monitor temperature, humidity and differential pressures. · Analyze environmental trends. · Support contamination control improvements. Projects · Coordinate HVAC modifications required for new manufacturing equipment. · Review airflow impact studies. · Coordinate ductwork modifications. · Participate in cleanroom expansion projects. · Commission new HVAC installations. Documentation & Compliance · Maintain HVAC documentation. · Coordinate cleanroom qualification. · Support GMP/ISO/customer audits where applicable. · Ensure regulatory compliance. Reliability · Develop preventive maintenance plans. · Improve energy efficiency. · Analyze HVAC failures. · Support emergency response activities. Required Qualifications · Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering. · 5+ years experience with industrial HVAC systems. · Experience with cleanroom HVAC design and operation. · Experience managing external contractors. Preferred Experience · Semiconductor industry. · Pharmaceutical cleanrooms. · ISO 14644 cleanroom standards. · Air balancing. · Building Management Systems (BMS). · Energy optimization. · Chilled water systems. · Heat recovery systems.
