Our client, a leader in the water sector, is currently seeking a Site Agent to join their team on a high-profile Tunnelling and Shaft Sinking project within the EKFB Wendover section of HS2. This is a contract role crucial for the success and safe delivery of large-scale underground works. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee day-to-day site operations ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of works • Manage site teams, subcontractors, and resource allocation • Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project specifications and the overall programme • Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and client representatives • Monitor progress, productivity, and project performance • Prepare and review site documentation, permits, and reports Job Requirements: • SMSTS • Previous EKFB experience is mandatory • Proven experience working as a Site Agent on civil engineering projects, particularly in tunnelling, shaft sinking, or underground works • Extensive knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards • Ability to manage subcontractors, site teams, and ensure project delivery • Experience in programme management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination • Relevant CSCS card and SMSTS certification • Full UK driving licence What's on Offer: • Opportunity to work on one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects • Long-term project duration • Competitive rates/packages available • Immediate start for suitable candidates If you possess relevant Site Agent experience, including previous involvement in EKFB projects and tunnelling/shaft sinking expertise, please Apply now to join our client's dynamic and dedicated team within the water sector.
