Overview Are you an experienced Site Administrator looking for your next role in the East Midlands? Atkins Search is recruiting for a Site Administrator in Nottingham to join an established, award-winning construction main contractor with a strong regional presence in the Midlands. This is a full-time, permanent position working within a supportive environment. Client Our client is a financially robust, well-respected construction main contractor with a strong presence across Nottingham and the East Midlands. Known for collaborative working practices, they maintain trusted relationships with subcontractors and clients to deliver high-quality schemes on time and within budget. Their diverse portfolio of projects spans commercial construction, education, leisure and healthcare construction projects, combining traditional delivery methods with modern project controls and sustainability frameworks. Following two years of consistent growth, they are expanding their contracts management team and seeking an experienced construction professional to lead their contract delivery programme. Role As a Site Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the site and office operates efficiently. The role involves managing deliveries, acting as a first point of contact for incoming calls, and assisting with general office administration. This position is well suited to someone who is organised, approachable, and comfortable carrying out routine administrative tasks within a professional office environment. Responsibilities As a Site Administrator, your responsibilities will include: Managing incoming and outgoing deliveries and ensuring items are distributed correctly Answering and directing incoming phone calls in a professional and polite manner Acting as a first point of contact for visitors and general enquiries Supporting general office administration and daily operations Maintaining office supplies and placing orders when required Assisting with filing, data entry, and document management Providing ad-hoc administrative support to directors as required Helping to keep the office organised and presentable Person To be successful in this position, the ideal Site Administrator will bring: Previous experience in an administrative or office support role (desirable) Good organisational and time management skills A confident and professional telephone manner Clear communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and follow established processes A reliable, helpful, and consistent approach to work Competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Good attention to detail and a willingness to support the wider team Remuneration This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading regional contractor with an impressive pipeline of projects and a strong presence across the East Midlands.
